About

Hello and be very welcome to Denmark Brazil.com

Today I’d like to write a few words about the original idea of this website, and give you a few “behind the scene” facts.

Before I get started a bit of gratitude…

Before coming to Denmark I all knew was that I’d have to wait some time untill my situation here could be legalized. As I’m an active person, and I cannot see my self not doing or producing anything, so I had this idea of creating an online platform directed to the Danish community with the idea of bringing up-to-date content about the Brazilian market, the Brazilian culture and the Brazilian business environment.

This idea over time grew a lot and became what Denmark Brazil is today. Denmark Brazil, however wouldn’t have happened if there hasn’t been the contribution of several people along the process.

I’m thankful to my wife, Cathrine Lamm who has always brought great insights about the Danish Culture,to my dear friend Crystal Rose who deeply supported and embraced Denmark Brazil’s project by bringing her profound knowledge of the English language and grammatical structure, Soren Hellerup as camera man and film maker, and Jeppe Lamm who always brought fantastic insights and advisory on how to organize the content, and always being precise and straightforward when giving feedbacks.

Additionally an enourmous THANK YOU to all specialists that provided interviews to Denmark Brazil.com and all the interesting people who are still going to be interviewed. Without their contribution this website wouldn’t be what it is.

What is Denmark Brazil.com?

Denmark Brazil.com is an online platform, founded in August of 2013. It seeks to bring free relevant content for the Danish society about:

  • The Opportunities in Brazil for Danish companies;
  • The Brazilian Business Culture, Business Environment and news about the Brazilian Market;
  • Video Interviews with specialists from specific sectors in Brazil, bringing insights about the Brazilian Market and their sector
  • Articles written by special guests bringing insights about different aspects of the Brazilian Culture, the Brazilian business environment and of course within their field of work.

How it all began…

Given the ever growing network I have built with Danes over the past few years, not only by working at the Danish Consulate in Brazil but specially because of Cathrine,my wife, I have had the great opportunity to create relationships with several Danes from different work fields. Although their interest in the Brazilian culture or other topics related was huge, I slowly realised that the majority wouldn’t know much, or simply not have enough information about Brazilian business culture and the Brazilian market.
Denmark Brazil will support the Danish community by bringing knowledge about the Brazilian market, the Brazilian Culture and Business environment all gathered in one platform.

I hope this website can somehow contribute to the success of your business or at least make you more Brazilian savvy.

Last but not least, I look forward to receiving comments, because it is only by knowing your honest opinion that this website and hopefully more businesses will thrive.

As we say in Brazil “Muito Obrigado” and being that I’m in Denmark, “Mange Tak.”
